A Main Street Christmas

It's almost time for the annual A Main Street Christmas celebration!

There are jugglers, singers, food, crafts, storytrellers and two Christmas parades - the annual Santa Claus Parade in the aftenoon, and the famous Farmers Parade of Lights in the evening.

Come and join us! Come for the day, or even be in the Parade.

If you, your company or organisation are interested in being in the afternoon Santa Claus Parade, please take a look at our Parade Participant Package, or better yet, call our Parade Marshall, Joanne Duclos at 905 841-1654.

Holiday Tree Lighting

The Schomberg Village Association would like to announce the first Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 29th which will begin at 5 pm. Come and enjoy the start of the festive season with some holiday music and carols. There will be hot drinks and cookies to help us enjoy the evening.

The official tree lighting ceremony will be at 5:15 p.m., when the switch is flipped and the lights begin to sparkle and shine on Main Street.

Our living holiday tree, kindly loaned to us by the Hoare family at 235 Main St, is 40 foot tall and illuminated by hundreds of twinkling lights and ornaments. Please join us there for the First Annual Holiday Tree Lighting!
