XML

Heard a lot about XML, but not sure if it is right for you? Or think XML is in your future, but you're not sure how it can help or what "flavor" of XML to choose?

The Rockley Group has developed XML content strategies for more than 20 years. We can help you to identify if XML makes sense for you, when XML should be introduced into your lifecycle, and what XML standard you should use. We'll also help you to model your content for the selected XML solution.

Key components of our XML Solution

The key components of our XML solution include:

Content models

A successful content management strategy is dependent on the quality of the content models. We have developed a unique modeling process, The Unified Content Architecture™, to specifically address the information architecture requirements of content reuse. The Rockley Group has pioneered content modeling methodologies for reuse.

For more information see Content models.

Reuse strategy

Reuse enables you to create custom and dynamic assemblies of content and deliver content on any device or platform. Reuse can occur within an information product or across many information products. The reuse strategy defines your granularity of reuse (size of reusable components) and the ways in which content will be reused.

For more information see Reuse strategy.

Mentoring/Empowering

Want to implement XML on your own? We can help you by guiding you through the process with a combination of instruction, review, and demonstration.

For more information see Empowering.
