We work closely with software vendors and/or system integrators to:

Although we don't perform system integration work or build software tools, we do develop front-end business needs, such as information models, reuse strategies, Document Type Definitions (DTDs), schema, and stylesheets. When we need help, we call upon technology partners that excel in areas in which we do not specialize.

Unified Content Prototype

The Unified Content Prototype^TM is designed to test both your design decisions and the software tools you selected. The prototype detects usability and functionality issues so they can be corrected early in the implementation cycle when they are easier to address and less costly to repair.

DTD/Schema

We create XML DTDs and/or schemas that support both your content models and your implementation strategy.

XML Stylesheets

We design XML stylesheets that govern the look-and-feel of your information products and deliver required functionality (e.g. content sorting, boilerplate text, and filtering).

CMS prototype configuration

Based on your implementation strategy and the resulting DTDs, schemas and stylesheets, your Content Management System (CMS) will be implemented. This effort could be done on-site (at your location) or on an off-site system accessible for the purposes of the prototype. Note: Depending upon the software tools selected, The Rockley Group (TRG) will work in tandem with system integrators and software vendors to ensure your implementation goes smoothly.

Usability test

Usability testing of your design decisions, content life cycle processes, and the software tools you selected can help us detect both usability and functionality issues so they can be corrected early in the implementation cycle when they are less costly and easier to address.
