Call for Proposals

Wanted: Presenters, Panelists and Workshop Instructors

We’re looking for seasoned professionals — folks who are not only experienced in the field of intelligent content, but who are also top-notch storytellers and speakers — to provide case study and topic-based presentations, teach hands-on educational workshops, and participate in panel discussions about intelligent content and related topics.

The high quality of our presenters, panelists, and workshop instructors help to differentiate the Intelligent Content conference from all others. The event is a highly-focused, well-respected, intimate international educational event designed to help attendees learn about the topics, standards, methods and technologies utilized today to enable intelligent content solutions. It’s not a tools conference, nor a sales-pitch laden marketing-fest. As such, we are extremely selective about our presenters and their presentation topics.

Although the bulk of our presentation and workshop slots are filled by invitation, each year we open a public call for presenters designed to help us uncover “diamonds in the rough” — presenters and instructors that have somehow flown under our radar that belong on the roster at Intelligent Content. If you’re an excellent presenter with experience delivering information products that change the way people work and play, and who have seen, first hand, the types of business value that intelligent content can deliver, we want to hear from you. If you have personally worked to help an organization overcome complex content challenges — and had to balance investment against the rate at which concrete returns can be realized — we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for great presentations from outstanding speakers. We’re looking for the visionary, but we’re also looking for the practical. We want our attendees to learn something useful – something they can use when they return to the office. We want presentations, case studies, panel sessions, pre-conference workshops and interactive demonstrations.

What we’re looking for in presenters

We’re looking for presenters to cover topics including:

  • Content strategy (by channel, vertical, device)
  • Design principles (scalable, multi-platform, interactive, customer experience)
  • Mobile (content types, analytics, applications)
  • Devices (tablets, eReaders, smartphones and other emerging devices)

  • Social (networks, communities, location-awareness, gamification, crowd-sourcing)
  • Globalization (terminology, translation, localization, internationalization)

What we’re looking for in instructors

  • Testing mobile content (usability, accessibility, considerations for specific device types)
