Phil Kemelor is Vice President of Strategic Analytics at Semphonic, the nation's largest vendor-neutral web analytics consulting firm. Phil is the head of Semphonic’s Washington, DC office and has fourteen years of experience in the web analytics field. Since joining Semphonic in 2007, Phil has led the company’s web analytics strategic planning and government and nonprofit practices. He was the lead analyst for the CMS Watch Web Analytics Report, an annual evaluation of Web analytics software vendors and the author of The Executive's Guide to Web Site Measurement and Testing. Prior to joining Semphonic, Phil co-founded and served as Principal Consultant for NetGenesis, one of the first web analytics software companies, and led the web analytics program at Bell Atlantic. He has also managed web development, business process, and operations initiatives for US Pharmacopeia, Verizon, SAIC, and the United States Postal Service.
