Mark Poston is a senior technical consultant with over fifteen years' experience in content and publishing at Mekon, Ltd. He has gained a broad knowledge and understanding of clients' publishing requirements. As technologies have changed and moved forward, the solutions he has worked on have reflected these changes. Mark is now heavily involved in the analysis, design, and implementation of XML publishing and content management solutions and is an active member of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee and Enterprise Business Documents and Web Sub Committees. He is also currently working on updating the FrameMaker Adapter as part of the DITA Open Toolkit project. Mark is the lead technical architect for Mekon's DITAweb.com service, has recently been involved in developing innovative solutions that use DITA as an enabler, and has been exploring opportunities to use DITA on mobile devices.
